Garland Behavioral Hospital is a 72-bed facility that provides mental health treatment for adults, ages 18 and older. We provide inpatient and outpatient treatment for Garland, Texas and the surrounding region. We take pride in providing dignified, respectful care to people struggling with clinical depression, anxiety, stress, alcohol or substance use or aging issues. We take a holistic approach, involving family and other support persons to help improve wellness and prevent relapse. Patients and their families can expect to receive thoughtful and ethical treatment when they arrive at our facility. We are dedicated to creating the kind of environment that patients recommend to family and friends and physicians prefer for their patients.
Garland Behavioral Hospital strives for excellence at every level of our organization. That commitment is reflected how our patients receive care, and that’s why we ask every patient to provide us with feedback on their stay and the care they’ve received. We take great pride in our consistently high scores and our track record of integrating their suggestions into the hospital and its programs. We asked patients in 2017 whether they felt the following queries were true about their treatment. The corresponding percentages represent the portion of patients who agreed with these statements.
I left the hospital feeling encouraged to help myself: 98.23%
I felt better at discharge then I did at admission: 98.91%
